With the help that photographer Elliot Erwitt currently has with Tods (“Icons by an Icon”) we enter into his worldview through his art.

Erwitt considers himself more a documentary filmmaker than an artist, and who would argue. It is very easy to interpret his photographs all steeped in history and marked by very normal moments in the life of any human being, but through his lens, those moments become magical. True the traditional black and white captures a mostly upbeat view, the most basic emotions of any living being.

Aprovechando la colaboración que en la actualidad el fotógrafo Elliot Erwitt tiene con Tods (“Icons by an Icon”) nos adentramos en su visión del mundo a través de su arte.

Erwitt se considera más documentarista que artista y no puede tener mas razón. Es muy fácil interpretar sus fotografías todas llenas de historia y marcadas por momentos muy normales en la vida de cualquier ser humano pero que, a través de su lente, consigue que esos momentos se vuelven mágicos. Fiel al tradicional blanco y negro logra captar, desde una visión casi siempre optimista, las emociones más básicas de cualquier ser vivo.
